Validated Hearing Handicap Surveys (HHIA/HHIE)
The Hearing Handicap Inventory for Adults or the Elderly is a validated questionnaire that measures the real-world emotional and social impact of your hearing loss — not just what the audiogram shows, but how hearing loss actually affects your daily life.
Cognitive Screening, When Appropriate
Given the well-documented connection between hearing and cognitive health, we incorporate cognitive screening into the evaluation when it's clinically appropriate — another data point in building your complete picture.
Hearing-in-Noise Testing (QuickSIN & ACT)
A standard hearing test doesn't tell the whole story of how you hear in noisy, real-world environments. QuickSIN and the Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT) test measure your ability to understand speech in background noise — directly informing which technology tier and features will actually help you in the situations you care about most.
